In 2017, Abeo and Elematic joined forces and developed the MultiSlab production concept for existing hollow-core producers. This system allows for production of both SL-decks and hollow-core slabs using the same casting beds.
Sweco is one of Europe’s leading architecture and engineering consultancy company with app. 14,500 employees. Sweco was one of the first innovation partners on Abeo’s new technologies and has been involved in the development of the SL-Deck and the Pearl-Chain Bridge Technology since Professor Kristian Hertz invented the technology at the Technical University of Denmark.
Weber is part of Saint Gobain – the biggest buildings material producer in world. Saint Gobain invests heavily in R&D and has more than 3.700. As a result Saint Gobain has several times been placed on Thomson Reuter’s ’Top 100 Global Innovator Company’ list. Weber is the world’s largest producer of expanded clay lightweight aggregates, which is used for the light-aggregate concrete in the SL-Deck and has participated in the development proces of the SL-Deck and production process for the light-aggregate concrete.
KVM is a leader in high quality block making machinery, asphalt plants and moulds for block making machines. KVM has subsidiaries and business partners in more than 20 countries and sell to customers all over the world. KVM has approx. 250 employees, of which most have many years of experience from working at KVM. KVM has participated in the development of the LAC machine for production of the SL-Deck which is supplied for SL-Deck producers.
With more than 50 years of experience in its field, Skandinavisk Spændbeton is among the leading players on the Scandinavian market for post-tensioning. Skandinavisk Spændbeton performs all kinds of post-tensioning for both building and infrastructure projects and has its head office in Denmark as well as subsidiaries in Sweden and Norway. Furthermore, the company works as a technical information center for post-tensioning and participates in various development projects.
